Internship: Research Team Lead | Computational Communications Research Lab
February 2018 - Current

Leading a team of 6 undergraduate computer scientists to mine data and develop software in order to determine the entropic effects algorithmic trading has had upon foreign exchange (FX) markets in regards to both uncertainty and unpredictability. Hidden Markov generating "Epsilon" machine developed by Dr. David Darmon PhD of University of California, Davis. Project under supervision and direction of Dr. Martin Hilbert PhD of University of California, Davis.


Computer Science Tutor | Computer Science Instructional Facilities
March 2018 - Current

Perform walk-in tutoring for undergraduate computer science students at the Computer Science Instructional Facilities of Kemper Hall basement, mentoring in a wide variety of subjects including ECS 10, ECS 20, ECS 30, ECS 40, ECS 50, ECS 60, ECS 150, ECS 154a, and ECS 154b. Task necessitates the ability to break down complex abstract computer science concepts into simplified easily understandable ideas.


Logistical and Hacker Associate | SacHacks 2018
January 2018 - Current

Handling logistical and hacking operations for SacHacks 2018, working with multiple teams to set system security, design coding challenges, manage budgeting, obtain sponsors, build workshops, and install network infrastructure for a 500+ person computer science venue.

Researched and developed software with a data mining team to webscrape popular Latin/South American websites such as MercadoLibre and Falabella to determine the technological development index of various Latin/South American countries for an United Nations General Secretariat Economic Commission of Latin America & Caribbean commissioned project under Dr. Martin Hilbert. Report published by the Social Science Research Network and presented at the Sixth Ministerial Conference on the Information Society in Latin America and the Caribbean.
